In this article, you’ll find a detailed plan on how to avoid going mad in the future.

Disclaimer alert:

There are no magic formulas, but a few things can help you be a little bit “less mad.”

So here are a few more steps:

  1. Learn to establish boundaries. Boundaries are, basically, limits that you set for yourself and others. It tells others how to behave towards you. They result from a complex recipe that involves unique ingredients like past experiences, cultural influences, beliefs, personality traits, opinions, etc. Boundaries help you make it clear to others what you like and (thoroughly) dislike and how far they can go. Basically, it’s the walls of our internal home. Without it, everything is entirely ajar, and we are susceptible to either falling or having someone take advantage of us. So, even though having boundaries is extremely important when trying to keep your sanity, the true secret is to be consistent and stay truthful to them. Only when you do this can you use this as a way to practice self-care.
  2. Practice delaying gratification. In other words, when it comes to immediate rewards, train yourself to press the brake. It’s a fantastic ability that helps you live your life with more purpose, allows you to control your impulses better, and make better decisions. The best part is that you…
